Vendor Computer Workshops

From Sunday, November 29 through Thursday, December 3, commercial vendors will conduct classes on their respective proprietary computer systems.These workshops give attendees the opportunity to learn from experts about using computers in the field of radiology. Gain practical, first-hand knowledge with:

  • State-of-the-art computer equipment
  • Radiology information systems (RIS)
  • Picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
  • Integration of computers into radiology practice
  • New techniques used in computer aided diagnosis

Please note: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TMis not available for these workshops.

Each session is given a code number which corresponds to our program and will be listed within Internet Registration.

VCW 1—Confirma/Merge CAD (BE)
Case Review with CADstream(R) MRI-CAD for Breast MRI
Discuss the clinical indications for breast MRI, along with acquisition technique, and analysis and interpretation. The hands-on structure of this workshop using CADstream will allow participants to gain experience reading a variety of breast cases using MRI-CAD. Faculty includes David Russell, MD and Ian Gardiner, MD.

Discuss how MRI-CAD improves standardization in reporting and assists in interventional planning of the breast. Includes hands-on session with SureLoc (R), CADstream’s interventional guidance tool. Faculty includes Audrey Hartman, MD.
